Omnicomm appoints Jens Strohschneider Global Chief Commercial Officer
Moscow, June 27th, 2018 – The global fuel and fleet management solution provider OMNICOMM announces the appointment of Jens Strohschneider, the former head of international sales in the company, to the position of Global Sales Director. The former head of sales Evgeny Maksaev is leaving the company and will focus on the development of his own projects.
Evgeny Maksaev joined OMNICOMM back in 2004 as a sales manager. He demonstrated a solid track record, greatly increasing corporate sales in Russia and CIS, and was promoted to head of the sales department. Under Evgeny’s leadership, OMNICOMM showed a dynamic increase in turnover. OMNICOMM’s founder and CEO Boris Pankov expresses the warmest thanks to Evgeny Maksaev for his valuable contribution to the development of corporate sales and wishes Evgeny further success in pursuing his own projects.
Jens Strohschneider joined OMNICOMM in 2017 as the head of international sales and business development. Under his leadership, in less than a year the company increased its market share several-fold globally, entered new geographical markets and established important strategic partnerships with global telematics players worldwide.
As Global Director of Sales, Jens will be responsible for growing corporate sales, identifying new strategic development areas and prospective vertical markets. In the upcoming months Jens will focus on channel development and manufacturing planning.
Jens Strohschneider has more than 20 years of increasingly responsible experience in sales and channel development. He acted as Director of Sales at Paragon Software and later at SPIRIT DSP, working tightly with channel partners. In Kaspersky Lab Jens developed the go-to-market strategy for the company’s cyber-security products for enterprise customers. As Vice President of Sales, Jens focused on the development of international sales at A1 System, a company developing technological platforms for mobile VAS.
