Omnicomm has sold the 600,000th fuel sensor
Fuel level sensor Omnicomm LLS is known for its accuracy and a high degree of reliability. That is annually confirmed by the clients with a small fleet consisting of several vehicles, and by large corporations with many thousands fleet. The accuracy of the device is 99.2%. With the help of Omnicomm fuel monitoring technologies thousands of companies control fuel consumption and achieve visible optimization. Our clients save millions of tons of fuel and millions of dollars annually. For instance, “Galooli” saves more than 5 mln USD a year. Monthly savings of “Norilsk Nickel” on fuel account for up to half a million USD. “Aeroflot” international airlines reduced fuel expenses by 30 percent a month. Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company saves up to 12 tons of fuel monthly.
The reliability of the sensor has been tested repeatedly in the harshest conditions. The research expedition of the Russian Geographical Society “Reliable machines. Iron people” to the Pole of Cold (the coldest place on Earth with temperature - 71,2 ° C) became a serious challenge for Omnicomm LLS sensors in the extremely low temperature. But during two weeks of the experiment fuel level sensors did not show any malfunction.
The long lasting cooperation with the “KAMAZ-master” rally team has been another example of the test on accuracy and reliability. In severe racing conditions, with constant shaking of fuel in the tank, fuel sensor Omnicomm LLS shows accurate data. The teams checked in practice that they can reach the finish line even if the remainder is 20 liters. On the one hand, it sounds like nothing special, but if you know that the volume of the tank is 1000 liters, one can imagine that the rest of 20 liters is hardly distributed on the bottom of the fuel tank. However in these conditions the sensor still shows the exact data and the team can have the exact amount of fuel not taking it in reserve.
“Omnicomm LLS fuel level sensor was developed by the company in 2003. Today it differs a lot from its predecessor, especially by reliability, integrity of design and accuracy of readings. Since that time, our experts have constantly worked on advancing the sensor, mastering the design and calculation algorithms to perfection”, – Sergey Gorokhov, Deputy Director for Business Development at Omnicomm commented.
“Today 600,000 fuel level sensors Omnicomm LLS measure fuel around the world. This figure shows really well the existing demand and necessity of various businesses in our key product and allows us to confidently say that we are moving in the right direction making reliability, accuracy and ease of operation the strategic goal of our company”, – Stanislav Emelyanov, Deputy Director General at Omnicomm added.
In 2015 Omnicomm LLS fuel level sensor was selected in the nomination “Best telematics product or launch in the emerging market” by TU Automotive awards due to impressive results in the core markets. With large partner network, Omnicomm fuel monitoring solutions are distributed to 110 countries worldwide. During the last five years the sales volume increased by more than 10 times.
