Omnicomm Advances into Eastern Europe With a Stellar Appearance at the Telematics Conference SEEurope 2017
On September 28, 2017 Omnicomm participated at a large telematics event that took place in Slovakia’s Bratislava: the Telematics Conference SEEurope. With a diverse range of business exhibitors and many visitors, including key stakeholders from the world of IT, communications and transportation technologies, the conference was dedicated to issues of monetization in the telematics market. Omnicomm made a solid impression with its comeback to the European scene, its team represented by Jens Strohschneider, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, and Dmitry Ilyin, Regional Sales Manager for Eastern and Western Europe.
Since the capital of Slovakia is one of Eastern Europe’s major hubs for telematics, it is a natural choice for hosting the only event in Southeastern Europe that focuses primarily on telematics. For the past seven years, Telematics Conference SEEurope has been the top destination for industry players to discover the latest achievements in telematics, logistics and transportation and study regional market specifics.
This year, Omnicomm has made a solid comeback to the European event scene after a brief timeout. The company cooperated with Cast Engineering Ltd., Bulgaria, Omnicomm’s exclusive distributor in Bulgaria and iSYS Professional, Romania, a GPS fleet management software developer, to host an interactive expertise session on the combined benefits of fuel management. It was dedicated to integrating fuel management systems and exploiting them to their maximum potential, reaping the benefits of increased overall fleet efficiency, cost savings and greener practices.
The live demo at the booth received extensive attention from event visitors.
As Jens Strohschneider concludes, “Participating in this event is yet another step to expanding Omnicomm’s presence in Europe, where we will be offering high-precision fuel level sensors and integrated fuel monitoring systems. These help companies achieve their goals, such as optimized fuel control and increased overall fleet efficiency, fuel cost savings and greener practices.”
OMNICOMM (est. 1998) is an international developer and manufacturer of high-accuracy fuel level sensors and complementary equipment for fleet management that employs GLONASS/GPS satellite vehicle tracking technologies. It provides an integrated and diversely represented platform for key stakeholders from commercial telematics and adjacent industries to come together and share their expertise and ideas, to network and garner inspiration for yet more innovation. Carefully selected speakers, interactive sessions, demos of the latest industry developments and extensive networking opportunities are among the reasons for the event to be rated highly by the telematics community.
