Unlocking Opportunities In Mexico: Omnicomm at Expo Seguridad 2017
On March 14-16, 2017 Omnicomm became one of the exhibitors at the famous Expo Seguridad, the largest annual event in the security industry in Mexico. Co-represented with Suntech, a hardware producer and a long-term partner, Omnicomm enjoyed an intense schedule full of meetings and discussions, providing networking and business opportunities for the company.

Expo Seguridad Mexico powered by ISC is the leading security event in Mexico and the largest of its kind in Latin America, with hundreds of security solutions under one roof. This year, it marked a 15-year milestone by holding the largest event in its history in Mexico City’s Citibanamex Center. More than 450 exhibitors made for a brilliant background for researching and discussing the latest developments in the field.

Suntech International Ltd. is a global leader in the telematics industry, offering highly customizable top-quality GPS tracking devices. The Mexican division of Suntech has employed Omnicomm LLS fuel level sensors for its terminals for the past 3 years since its arrival in the Mexican home market.
At least 6 hours of meetings a day provided Omnicomm and Suntech with multiple networking opportunities. It was a pleasure to meet up with long-term partners and discuss ways to take business relationships to the next level. The event demonstrated a growing interest in fuel management, too, with many participants admitting that reliable fuel data was integral to their success and that they were actively interested in optimizing their fuel costs.

As Omnicomm’s head of Mexican operations Elena Denisenko comments, “The company was happy to become part of such a highly professional event. We appreciate each and every opportunity to meet with our partners and fleet owners. It is integral to get feedback and use it in our product development, as well as when working with partners and customers. I’d like to highlight the successful cooperation with Suntech, our long-term partner that became our stand co-exhibitor this time. This partnership allows us both to offer a wider range of fuel and fleet management solutions to our customers and attain an extensive range of goals.”

Director of Suntech LATAM, Luis Byonkgi Oh,  is also very positive about the event: “Expo Seguridad is very important to us. It offers multiple opportunities for networking and learning of the latest industry trends. Our stand this year became a networking platform in its own right, representing our partners, too. We enjoy working with Omnicomm; it’s been a few very successful years in Mexico, and there’s certainly more success to come!”
